Broken Hill for Yes
Welcome to Broken Hill for Yes 23!
We are a group of community focussed local residents dedicated to supporting the YES vote in the upcoming Australian constitutional referendum for a Voice to Parliament. We are motivated to provide information to those in our community who are undecided or seeking an opportunity for a considerate conversation.
Our focus is on human rights and social justice and we hope to inspire the wider community in our region to unite in support of the YES vote. Our campaign is positive and optimistic, with an eye on creating positive outcomes from a united community effort. This is an encouraging, values-led movement that will grow in our region and result in a strong YES vote in our area.
We invite individuals and groups to get involved with activities in the local community. There are many ways you can help. You or your group might want to put up corflutes, assist on market stalls, be part of flyer drops, wear a t-shirt, and provide factual information about the upcoming vote to those you know. You may want to man a pre-poll or be present on polling day. We are asking you to meet this generational opportunity with courage and get involved. All help is deeply appreciated and highly valued.
The more volunteers we have, the more obvious we will be in the community. You will be volunteering with like-minded people in a supportive environment, spreading a message of kindness and community.
This referendum will change our community. We stand ready to say YES for positive, respectful change.
