You're invited to join us for a special Cross-Cultural Yarn around the fire about the Voice to Parliament.
Vice President, Indigenous Strategy and Engagement at UOW, Jaymee Beveridge and her team from the Woolyungah Indigenous Centre will be chatting with Amar Singh, Australian of the Year and founder of Turbans4Australia.
Amar is a Sikh who believes that helping others should not be limited by religion, language or cultural background.
Leaving Sydney on August 1, Amar has travelled 25 000km around Australia, promoting the benefits of the Voice with religious, multicultural and regional communities.
He arrives in Wollongong this week and we have the opportunity to sit around a cultural fire and share some Indigenous-inspired desserts together.
Uni holidays mean parking is available in P3. RSVP for catering purposes here.
