Hello and welcome to Kimberley for YES!

We are a community-focused group of people who live in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

The upcoming referendum will give all Australians the chance to come together and consider a change to our Constitution that will recognise, honour, and celebrate the rights, histories and ongoing relationships of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians in this country.

We want to help our community understand the motivation behind the Yes Vote and how it will create change on a localised level. Our aim is to inform, educate and engage people in the Kimberley region that Consitutional Recognition through a Voice to Parliament is a step in the right direction towards respect, reconciliation, truth, and inclusion in our local communities. We believe that voting Yes will result in positive outcomes in areas such as health, education, jobs and housing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in this area.  

If you also feel passionately about this, we need your support. We're inviting like-minded individuals and groups who may be living, working or travelling in the Kimberley to contribute in various ways and in any capacity they can. Every bit of help is valuable.
