Mackellar for Yes
"Mackellar for Yes" is a community-focused group of local residents in the electorate of Mackellar in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
We are dedicated to supporting the Yes Vote in the upcoming Australian constitutional referendum. Our focus is on political unity - people of all beliefs and cultures united in supporting the Yes Vote.
We warmly invite you to join us.
We want to help our community understand and support the Yes Vote, and we're committed to working towards this goal. As part of the nationwide Yes23 campaign, we're taking responsibility for coordinating Yes Campaign activities within Mackellar.
But, we need your support. We're inviting individuals and groups to assist in different ways - from staffing polling booths and helping with pre-polling, to running street stalls, letterboxing, information sessions, to sharing information within your own circles.
Every bit of help is significant and valued.
If you or your group are in Mackellar and support the Yes Vote, please fill in your details in the form on this page. By working together, we can make a real difference to our community and our nation. We're ready to say 'Yes', and we hope you are too!
Referendum & Voice to Parliament Information
Later this year, we will vote in the first Referendum in Australia in 24 years.
We will have to say YES or NO to:
“A Proposed Law: to alter the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
Do you approve this proposed alteration?”
