Northern Tablelands for Yes covers the countries of Anaiwan, Kamilaroi, Dhanggati, Ngarabal, Banbai, Gumbaynggirr and Bigambul nations, acknowledging all peoples and nationalities in the high country of Northern NSW inland area.

We are coming together as a committed group in the support of the Yes campaign focused on learning, discussing, opening up dialogue, hoping to propagate respectful conversations about the up coming referendum. We believe that a Voice to the national parliament and executive government is the best available way of maximising the likelihood that the voices of First Nations Peoples across the country will get to decision-makers and of increasing the probability that they will be listened and responded to. After being enshrined in the Australian Constitution this will ensure the Voice has a reasonable chance of continuing to exist and grow on the work that has been done from the previews governmental representative bodies, leading to better outcomes. This is the path we are on and after the Yes vote, it will be a way to reconciliation, treaty and truth telling.

As a group across this large rural area we are wanting your help to learn, practise and engage in Together Yes Kitchen table talks, distribute signs to residents and business, letter box drop leaflets, engage with all willing communities and community groups with information, having stalls in all town markets distributing and talking to those who want information, community forums, a street march, concerts and attend polling booths leading up to the Referendum.

We all need to be the change we want to see happen, that takes us all forward and helps us as a nation heel and unite together.
